Frequently asked questions
Add a short description for this section
How long does the bespoke process take?
Between 8 and 12 weeks from order confirmation. Complex projects with multiple suitcases can take up to 16 weeks. We send weekly updates throughout the crafting phase.
Can I provide my own leather or fabric?
Yes — we routinely work with client-supplied leathers, especially when matching a rare upholstery. We will assess the material's suitability and confirm compatibility before starting.
Can I visit the atelier?
Of course. Our workshop in Brout Vernet (Allier) is open to clients by appointment. It is the best way to choose your leathers, see ongoing work, and meet Marianne and Mathis.
What is the warranty?
Every Laurent Nay piece comes with a lifetime warranty on craftsmanship — stitching, hardware, and structural integrity. We also offer paid restoration services for natural wear.
Do you need photos or measurements of my car?
For most classic models we have the dimensions on file. For rarer cars or unusual specifications, we ask for a few measurements of the trunk and rear compartment, and ideally a few photos of the interior leather.
What is the typical price range?
A single bespoke suitcase typically starts around €1,800. A full set of four suitcases tailored to a specific car ranges from €6,000 to €15,000 depending on materials and complexity. We send a personalised quote within 48 hours of your brief.
